Dancing Museums


Dancing Museums connects 5 leading European museums including the Louvre and the National Gallery with dance artists to shift the perception of what dance and the body can be in a Museum.

Europe's largest hub for dance discovery. Each year the network selects 20 of the most promising emerging choreographers in Europe. Aerowaves promotes their work for a year, creating opportunities to perform in 33 countries.

Aoife Dunne


Aoife Dunne is a visual Artist from Ireland. Her work explores contemporary intricacies through immersive digital installations that blend sculpture, video, sound, performance, technology and costume. Aoife's work has featured in prominent exhibitions including the Royal Academy of Arts London, the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.

Stephanie Cumming is a Canadian actress, choreographer and dancer. She is a co-founder of the company Liquid Loft that was awarded a Golden Lion at the Biennale di Venezia in 2007.

While one of them grew up in a worker's house - with one bathroom for sixteen flats - and King Ludwig II's bathroom was the catalyst for her architecture studies, the other grew up in a castle and today prefers to capture them on paper rather than live in them.
